As with many other substances, the use of CBD is not an exact science. From our customers’ experience and from some preliminary scientific research, we know that CBD oil can have a positive effect on our health and general well-being. Although it is not always clear what kind of CBD oil and how much of the product you need to take exactly to get a certain result with certain diseases. So, how do you begin to determine the right CBD dosage for your needs?
CBD Oil To understand why there is no exact dosage for CBD, it’s important to realize that we’re all different. Every person varies in shape, form, and size—and that’s why we process these substances differently. Furthermore, the effects of CBD oil and other cannabinoid supplements on the body can even be influenced by what you’ve eaten or how well you’ve slept. Although, generally speaking, these environmental factors have only a slight effect on how CBD works, compared to the significant influence of your body’s own chemistry.
As CBD works by interacting with the body’s own signalling system – the endocannabinoid system (ESS) – your own body and the state it is in are huge factors in the effectiveness of CBD. This can be caused by a fluctuation in the number of CB1-receptors of the ECS in the body. So, to answer the question of how you determine the right CBD dosage, you’re actually the one holding the answer. Considering that you should try the product and see for yourself. But don’t worry, we’re here to help!
Trial and Error with CBD Oil
If your neighbor feels fine with four drops a day—that doesn’t mean the same dosage will be enough for you. In fact, you might need 10 times as much—or perhaps much less. To find out what the right dose of CBD oil is for you, you simply have to start taking it. Fortunately, CBD oil is completely safe and will never cause dangerous or unwanted side effects even if you “overdose.” However, from a practical and financial standpoint, there’s no need to consume more than is necessary.
Each Dutch Natural Healing CBD product carries instructions for a starting dose, depending on the concentration of the contents. Because although there is no maximum dose for CBD oil, there is obviously a minimum dose required for CBD to be effective.
Starting Your CBD Oil Dosage
Depending on the product you choose, the initial dosage for our CBD oil and water-soluble CBDactive+ is approximately 1 or 2 drops or pumps, 1 or 2 times a day, unless otherwise advised. This provides the minimum amount of CBD needed to feel some kind of effect. If you do not notice a difference in your condition after 10–14 days of use, it is recommended that you increase the dose. It’s also recommended to increase the dosage when you believe it could enhance the product’s effects. However, at some point, it’s better to increase the potency of the CBD oil you’re using by switching to a higher CBD concentration per drop, rather than simply increasing your dose.
