What is cannabidiol acid (CBD-A)?
Cannabidiolic acid (CBD-A) is the acidic form of Cannabidiol (CBD). CBD-A is converted to CBD by a process called decarboxylation, which occurs when the plant material is dried or when heat is applied during the production process. During this natural chemical reaction, a carboxyl group is removed from the CBD-Acid molecule, releasing carbon dioxide (CO2). The molecule that remains is the neutral form of CBD found in most of our products, Cannabidiol.

Thus, CBD-A is extracted from fresh and unprocessed hemp extracts, as RAW as it can be. It is then carefully blended with other cannabis extracts for a balanced cannabinoid profile, containing every substance needed to best interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS).
