Shining Silver Haze – Royal Queen Seeds. A variety of Haze that brings instant euphoria

Genetics and dynamics

In the 1970s two brothers started growing Sativas from all over the world. Since then, those who smoke cannabis have been particularly grateful for the existence of a type of plant called Haze. This plant is the result of combining thousands of seeds from Colombia, Mexico, Thailand and South India. Eventually, Haze’s genetics made it to the Netherlands for further hybridisation and was able to gain the title of top Sativa variety.

When it arrived in the Netherlands, along with the now-classic Skunk varieties, two growers tried to figure out how to create a super hybrid that would combine the sweet taste and strong euphoria of Haze with the fast flowering of Indica. One of the growers, using a combination of Haze, Skunk and Northern Lights genetics, created one of the first Haze classics, the so-called Super Sliver Haze.

Over the years, these early varieties have spread and hybridized, resulting in one of Royal Queen Seeds’ top varieties, Shining Silver Haze. This Haze hybrid indoors reaches about 100 cm tall, which makes it very short for its species. However, outdoors, it can reach over 200 cm in height. Outdoors it needs a lot of sun, perhaps even a greenhouse in areas such as Spain, Italy or North Africa.

Performance and development

Our feminized Shining Silver Haze yields an average of 55-65 grams per plant and up to 650 grams per square meter under 600W light. The first flowers appear within 9-10 weeks, a fairly short time for a Haze plant. There are very few Haze strains that can deliver very sweet flavor and very strong euphoria in less than 10 weeks and Shining Silver Haze has the honor of being one of them.

Effects

The smoking of the Shining Silver Haze is simply fantastic. Smokers will love the immediate euphoria that each puff of a cigarette or bong causes, which has a direct effect on the brain creating a haze of thoughts. Its unique sweet taste is so delicious that it makes you look forward to the next sip.
